A Dogue's Life!

My goal in life is to be as good of a person my dog already thinks I am!!

A dog is such a special friend,A friend in many ways.Sharing love and companionship,Just looking for your praise. The clever things they often doBring a smile to your face; And so to them I dedicate,This small but special place…

Man himself cannot express love and humility by external signs, so plainly as does a dog, when with drooping ears, hanging lips, flexuous body, and wagging tail, he meets his beloved master.

TO NON-PET OWNERS who visit our homes. Don’t complain about our pets. (1) They live here, you don’t. (2) If you don’t want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That’s why they call it ‘Fur’-niture. (3) Chances are, I love my pets more then I like you. (4) To you, they are animals. To us, they are family who are hairy, walk on all fours & don’t talk back.   ♥♥♥

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

A Dogs Soul

Every dog must have a soul, somewhere deep insideWhere all his hurts and grievances are buried with his pride.

Where he decides the good and bad, the wrong way from the right,And where his judgement carefully is hidden from our sight.

A dog must have a secret place, where every thought abides,A sort of close acquaintance that he trusts in and confides.

And when accused unjustly for himself, He cannot speak,Rebuked, He finds within his soul, the comfort he must seek.

He’ll love, tho’he is unloved, and he’ll serve tho’badly used,And one kind word will wipe away the times when he’s abused.

Altho’ his heart may break in two, his love will still be whole,Because God gave to every dog an understanding Soul!

If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend,If you can face the world without lies and deceit,If you can say honestly that deep in your heart you have no prejudice against creed, color, religion or politics,Then, my friend, you are almost as good as your dog.

Dogue de Bordeaux: I am your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are my life, my love, my leader. I will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of my heart.

Dogs are better than human beings because they know but do not tell

A dog is the only thing on earth that will love you more than you love yourself

I talk to him when I’m lonesome like; And I’m sure he understands. When he looks at me so attentively,And gently licks my hands; Then he rubs his nose on my tailored clothes,But I never say naught thereat. For the good Lord knows I can buy more clothes,But never a friend like that

When God had made the earth and sky, the flowers and the trees, He then made all the animals the fish, the birds and beesAnd when at last He’d finished not one was quite the same. He said I’ll walk this world of mine and give each one a name. And so He travelled far and wideand everywhere He went,a little creature followed Him until its strength was spent. When all were named upon the earth and in the Sky and Sea, the little creature said “Dear Lord, there’s no name left for me.” Kindly the Father said to him”I’ve left you to the end. I’ve turned my own name back to front And called you DOG, my friend

If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die, I want to go where they went.

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.

Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole

The one absolutely unselfish friend that anyone can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is a dog. A dog stands by its master in prosperity and poverty, in health and sickness. A dog will sleep on the cold ground where the wintry winds blow and the snow drives fiercely, if only to be near its master’s side. A dog will kiss the hand that has no food to offer, will lick the wounds that its master encounters from the roughness of the world. A dog will guard the sleep of its pauper master as if its master were a prince. When all other friends desert, a dog remains. When riches take wing and reputations fall to pieces, a dog is as constant in its love as the sun in its journey through the heavens

A dog doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, big or small, young or old. He doesn’t care if you’re not smart, not popular, not a good joke-teller, not the best athlete, nor the best-looking person. To your dog, you are the greatest, the smartest, the nicest human being who was ever born. You are his friend and protector.
